Here at Trinity, our worship together forms the core of our Parish Life. We are a worshipping community which finds unity in our diversity. We gather as a community of individuals to worship and share in a sacramental life which makes us one because of our participation in the Body and Blood of Our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ.
All visitors are welcome to share the Holy Eucharist who have been baptized with water, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who have been admitted to Communion in their own church. We are called to repent our sins and approach the Holy Communion as an expression of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that visitors who desire on this occasion to receive Communion in the Episcopal Church will find it the means to strengthen their life within the Christian family and their participation in the church, as we pray and work that God's Church may be one.
The Blessed Sacrament is reserved at all times on the altar here at Trinity Church. As you enter the church, your reverence is asked as well as your prayers for all who worship and minister here. If notified, the Rector or one of the Lay Eucharistic Ministers will take Holy Communion to anyone who is ill at home or in the hospital.
The Coffee Hour, held most Sundays from September through June following the 10:00 am Eucharist is a special opportunity for welcoming newcomers to the Parish and for fellowship. Informal gatherings for Iced Tea and Lemonade are held regularly throughout the Summer. The Church School meets in the Parish House beginning at 9:00 am each Sunday from September to June for a period of instruction based on the great stories of the Bible and the Church. Our youngest students remain in a special class and join the celebration of the Eucharist during the Exchange of the Peace. At Trinity, children are encouraged to participate fully in the sacramental life of the parish and are welcomed to receive communion from the day of their baptism. On most weeks during the year, the Eucharist is offered daily (except Tuesdays) and the parish is encouraged to set apart those times to worship together as a community.
